He is survived by: his wife LaVonne of Lake Park; his children, Cindy Nelson (Everett) of Hawley, Debbie Sander (Paul) of Lake Park, Steve Askelson (Jackie) of Cedar Hill, TX, Doug Askelson (Lauri) of Audubon, Lisa Anderson (Doug) of Lake Park, Christy Wiesmann (Tom) of Moorhead, Julie Dalen (Joe), Lake Park and Sherri Capell (Troy); his grandchildren, Tim Illg, Tiffani Rosing, Meghan Nelson, Matthew Sander, Natalie Slininger, Nikki Jackson, Mandi Dearborn, Jason Askelson, Kaila Capouch, Dawnelle Skaudis, Jeremy Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Allisa Johnson, Michael Wiesmann, Nicholas Wiesmann, Jessica Dalen and Andrew Dalen; his brother-in-law Bud Ode (Becky); and also Lake Park. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
