She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Getz and Marilyn Getz (Poppel); her stepfather Arthur Blilie; her daughter Kathy Ann Niemi; her stepson Michael Brendemuhl; and her brothers-in-law, Jerome Kuehl, Charles Askegaard and Helmuth Leske.
She is survived by: her husband Alden Brendemuhl of Moorhead; her daughter Linda Brendemuhl of Fargo, ND; her stepchildren, Paul Brendemuhl (Chris) of Lake Park, MN and Kathleen Okke (Kurt) of Hawley, MN; her grandchildren, Wayne Niemi (Meagan), Michelle Hensel (Payne), Jana Kensok (Andrew), Kyle Okke (Samantha), Korey Okke, Kasey Okke (Jessica), Autumn Brendemuhl, Ethan Brendemuhl (Christina) and Winter Brekhus (Preston); and her siblings, Dorothy Kuehl of Moorhead, Donna Mae Askegaard of Moorhead, Carol Leske of West Fargo, ND and Dennis Getz (Jane) of Wolverton. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
