He is survived by: his former wife Debra Thomas; his children, Jeffrey Ellis and Margaret Susan (Maggie) of Dilworth, MN; his child-in-law Dominique; his son Jeff Speer (Dominique) of Fargo, ND; his siblings, Bruce Speer of Lake Park, MN, Lynn Speer (Carolyn) of Felton, MN, Joe Speer (Kolynn) of Ulen, MN and Carol Speer of Felton, MN; his aunts, Lenore Holmgren and Lillie Hilgers; his friends, Maysie, Brent, Liz and Larry; and also, Jo, Becca and Nathan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
