He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Gale (Johnson) and Bert Gale, Sr.; his significant other Sandy Klaers; and his daughter Michelle. He is survived by: his siblings, Alvin Gale, Bert Gale, Jr., Ronald Gale, Vernon Gale, Kenneth Gale, Dollian Kottmeyer (Kirk) and Betty Lou Mettler; his children, Krisa Fairbanks (Antoine), Katie Guthrie, Rachel Klaers-Martin (Ron) and Kerry Klaers (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Aiyana, Braziel, Roman, Ryan, Makayla, Dakota and Memphis.
