It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Elroy Nelson (Farmington, Minnesota), born in Eugene, Oregon, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Nelson and Marian Nelson of Murdock; his daughter Victoria; and his former wife Kathryn. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Daniel (Susanne), Bradley, Kevin (Lisa) and Kimberly (Maynard Vinge); his grandchildren, Eric Nelson, Reanna Nelson, Timothy Warumzer (Mayen), Stacey Curington, Kyle Nelson, Joshua Montez and Andrea Nelson; his great grandchildren, Katrina Curington, Ally Curington, Frankie Warumzer, Abby Warumzer, Merissa Montez, Joshua Montez Jr., Jason Montez and Lilliana Montez; and his siblings, Carol Kappes (Tom), Linda Kennedy, Betty Martin (Dick), Donna Hacker (Ron), Mark (Mary) and Debra Jellison (Terry). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
