He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Huisman and Helen Huisman; his siblings, Eileen, Donald, Dean, Patricia and Roseanne; and his son-in-law Dewight "Dewey" Reck.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys; and his stepchildren, Randy Olsen (Laura), Kathy Siewelo (Greg) and Wendy Wynveen (Jon). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Michael (22120 Denmark Ave, Farmington, MN 55024).
