She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Harff and Alma Harff; and her husband James Gerths. She is survived by: her sons, Jon (Karen), Steve (Jackie) and Fritz Gerths (Nancy); her grandchildren, Maggie Hinchley (Josh), David (Brittany Perez), Molly (Manjeet Ranga) and Allison Gerths; and her great grandchildren, Peyton and Emilia Hinchley.
Memorials will be donated to the Salvation Army, and the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Women Helping Women Reach for the Stars).
