He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Briggs and Edith Briggs (Lamont); and his wife Donna. He is survived by: his sons, Bob Briggs (Mary Sue) of Farmington, MN and Jim Briggs (Elizabeth) of West Hartford, CT; his sister Emily Papa of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Meredith Briggs, Emma Briggs of West Hartford, CT, Susan Bartlett (Andrew) of Kansas City, MO and Sarah Stelzner (Michael) of Zumbrota, MN; his great grandchildren, Bryan Stelzner, Eli Stelzner, Makayla, Ava and Emilee Bartlett; and his sisters, Gwen and Ruth. He is also survived by his parents; and two sisters.
