He was predeceased by: his wife Mary (Akin); his parents, John Stoffel and Gertrude Stoffel; and his sister Betty Kulzer. He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Zappa (Mike) and Mary Kelly (Mark); his grandchildren, Erin Zappa, Eric Zappa (Laurie), Lindsay Woodard (Joseph), Ashley Litscher (Dan), Kaitlyn Buss and Emily Buss; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Addilyn, Stella, Grayson, Brecken, Ellery, Madison and Aubrey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
