He is survived by: his brother Terry Peterson (Dianne); his children, Gene Peterson Jr. (Susan), Jackie Peterson and Debbie Cassity; his stepchildren, Brad Bormann (Bobbie), James Bormann (Natalie) and Mitch Bormann; his grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, Kyle, Klint, Kiel (Jeni), Lacey (Lance), Mindy, Ashley, Cassie (Owen) and Josie; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Leah, Ella, Owen, Arianna, Destiny, Piper, Kenzie, Everlee, Easton, Corbin, Gwendolyn, Madelyn and Aurora.
