He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schmidtke and Lila Schmidtke (Juenke); his daughter Dr. Jodi Zenti; his siblings, Dale Schmidtke (Arlene), Sandra Schmidtke, Emily Olson (Edmund) and Pearl Shirley (Gale); and his sister-in-law Peggy Schmidtke.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Schmidtke of Farmington, MN; his children, Jeffrey Schmidtke (Teresa) of Farmington, MN and Sara Enwall (Nate); his grandchildren, Shelby, Cindy Schmidtke, Cece, Carina, Francesca (Alex Kopp), Alberto Zenti and Abel Enwall; his stepgrandson Shannon Schmidtke; and his brother Lyle Schmidtke of Farmington, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
