With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald George Rose of Farmington, Minnesota, born in Lakeville, Minnesota, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Donald George may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Harriet Morrison Rose (Connie Bezdichek); his parents, Mary Rose and Delbert Rose Sr.; and his brothers, Chester, Richard, Delbert and David.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Ward (Samuel Ward) of Calvin, Dawn Finch (Timothy Finch) of St. Albans and Connie Zachary of Healdton, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Goldie Degross and Kenneth Rose. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highview Christiania Luteran Church (26690 Highview Ave, Farmington, MN 55024). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
