She was predeceased by: her husband Vance E. Nelson; her parents, Neal Swenson and Lillian Swenson (Larson) of Storden, MN; her brother Neal Swenson, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Donna Swenson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn; her friend Nancy Gustafson; her siblings, Lyle Swenson (Lucy), Robert Swenson (Sonja), Mike Swenson (Jan) and Lucille Peterson (Kenneth); her sister-in-law Ardelle Swenson; and her stepchildren, Daniel Nelson (Susanne), Kimberly Nelson (Maynard Vinge), Bradley Nelson and Kevin Nelson (Lisa). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
