He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Derner and Mary Derner (Salz); his siblings, Ray (Evelyn), Marcella Butler (Jim), Vernon (Harriet), Odelia Hoehn (Bill), Ervin (Maggie), Bernice Weber (Francis), Louis (Mary) and Ralph; and his brother-in-law Burt Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Wendelschafer; his children, Kathy Derner (Mike Anderson), Marie Kerber (Dale), Greg Derner (Theresa) and Lisa Kamen (Don); his siblings, Richard (Darlene), Willard (Margaret) and Joan Johnson; and his sister-in-law Pat Derner. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Parkinson's Foundation or St. Michael's Catholic Church in Farmington, MN.
