He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Friesen and Mildred Friesen (Bultman); his brothers, David Friesen (Sharon) and Richard Friesen; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Krenik and David Reiter.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Friesen of Faribault, MN; his children, Jeffery Hansen (Amy) of Medford, MN, Tara Niner of Montgomery, MN, Lisa Herring (Tom) of Lakeville, MN and Bethany Dahlin (Brandon) of Faribault, MN; his grandchildren, Levii, Alexis, Cooper, Chloe, Jordyn, Hannah, Rachel, Bayley, Chris, Shanna, Mandi, Hayley, Carter, Zoey and Tanner; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jasmine and Athena; and his siblings, Lorraine Paschke (Ron) of Shakopee, MN, Sharon Krenik of Morristown, MN, Denise Keeley (Dan) of Faribault, MN and Paul Friesen (Wanda) of Faribault, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
