He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Bang and Luther Bang; his daughter Leilani Bang; his son-in-law Robert Vogelsberg; and his brothers, Carlyle Curtis Thomsen and William Luther Bang.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Christensen (Cyndi) of Texas, Jeffrey Bang (Ann) of Florida, Lisa Vogelsberg of Minnesota, Mikki Bang of Minnesota and Nicholas Joy of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Rachel Christensen, Tyler Christensen, Caleb Bang-Villa, Danielle Christensen, Blake Halstead, Josie Happel and Sheldon Sobey; his brother George Bang (Judy); and his sister-in-law Judy Bang. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
