She was predeceased by: her son Enrique "Henry" Cantu; and her brother Apolinar Cantu Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Apolinar Cantu Sr. and Alicia Rodriguez; her sister Ruth Ramon; her brother-in-law Martin Ramon; her stepbrothers, Anthony Cantu and Abraham Cantu; her sons, Bryan Cantu and David Gonzalez; her granddaughters, Lillian Cantu and Cecilia Cantu; her niece Miranda Ramon; her goddaughter Kimberly Ramon; and her niece Zenaida Ramon.
In lieu of flowers, Minnie's family prefers memorials be designated to Bethlehem Academy or the Divine Mercy Catholic School United for Our Future Project in memory of Minnie.
