He is survived by: his mother Janice Chappuis (Dienst); his daughter MaKenzie Bussert (John Wedrickas); his grandchild Tenley Krenske; and his siblings, Lorne Chappuis (Lisa), Mary Chappuis, Connie Johnson (Ken), June Chappuis (Tom Panetti), Lance Chappuis (Jill), Amy Probst (Noal), Tim Chappuis (Laurie), Jody Mathews (Andy), Christina Chappuis, Ann Brown (Jeremy) and Jan Chappuis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of St. Patrick (7525 Dodd Rd, Faribault, MN 55021). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (7525 Dodd Rd, Faribault, MN 55021).
