He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Swanson and Cleta Swanson (Cowan); his son Wesley James; and his brothers, Bill and Clarence.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kitzman; and his children, Nick Swanson (Jeanine) of Eagan, Cheryl Dubbels (Steve) of Eagan, Randy Swanson of Brighton, CO and Greg Swanson (Jessica) of Cannon Falls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one on the way; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Boldt Funeral Home (300 Prairie Ave SW, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
