She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zabel and Elsie Zabel (Demann); her husband Conrad; and her siblings, Leonard Zabel (Pete), Marjorie Sheady and Marilyn DeCoux (Gail).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Stearns (Dianne) of Cleveland, MN, Mary Mack (David) and James Stearns (Joan) of Reston, VA.; her brother-in-law Paul Noeller of Faribault; and her cousin Marianne Malloy of Faribault. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
