With solemn reverence, we commemorate Elaine Herda of Faribault, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on May 27, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph D. Trnka and Anna Trnka (Simon); her husband Joseph W. Herda; and her siblings, Ellard Trnka, Joseph C. Trnka and Joan Winters.
She is survived by: her children, Linda White (Steve), Laura Wangsness (Dean), Dean Herda (Jan), Duane Herda and Mary Jo Voxland (Don); her grandchildren, Tracy, Chad, Jamie, Josh, Erin, Michael, Matt, Joseph, Andy, Jared, Crystin and Carly; and her sisters-in-law, Bea Rukavina (Val), Lois Kelly, Nancy Trnka and Judy Herda. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota Hospice, Northfield Retirement Community or donor's choice.
