He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hirdler and Ida Hirdler (Novotny); his brothers, Maynard Hirdler, Francis "Frankie" Hirdler and Stanley Hirdler; his brother-in-law Leon Wroblewski; his aunt Marion Pudil; and his stepson Jeffery Olson.
He is survived by: his children, David Hirdler Jr. (Tony) and Katherine Hirdler; the mother of his children Kari Olson; his grandchildren, Jazmine and Jaxon; his stepdaughter Michelle Olson; his stepdaughter-in-law Tamitha Olson; his stepgrandchildren, Riley, Jahmar, Breanna, Destiny, Clinton and Savannah; and his siblings, Mary Jane Wroblewski and Dale Hirdler (Jayne Kukacka). He is also survived by nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Christdala Cemetery.
