He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McShane and Florence McShane (Hickey); his wife Katherine Koktavy; his brother James; his sister-in-law Barbara McShane; and his close friend Dorothy Machacek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hein (David) and Carol Baynes (Floyd); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Baynes (Juli), Amanda Baynes, Megan Southworth (Ryan), Michael Hein (Maureen) and Andrew Hein (Brittany). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
