She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pirkl and Viola Pirkl (Gibson); and her husband Harry Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Kay (Dan Anable), Anita (Richard Pope), Tim Vailencour, Mike Vailencour, Pat (Ruth Vailencour), Rita (Pierre Levasseur), John Vailencour and Margaret Vailencour; and her siblings, Richard Pirkl and Cathy Durand. She is also survived by 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
