She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Haertel and Helen Haertel (Theobald); her husband Dean G. Bassett; and her sisters, Joyce Manninen and Kathryn "Kathy" L. Schultz.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Bassett (Ann) of Arlington, Allan Bassett of Fairmont, Lisa Stackhouse (Joe) of Blaine and Mark Bassett of Fairmont, Minn.; her grandchildren, Brandon Bassett of Buffalo Center, IA., Tyson Bassett of Fairmont, Jackson Bassett of Dolliver and Jenna Lettow (Mark) of Iowa Falls, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Layden, Bailee Bassett of Elmore, Henrik and George of Iowa Falls, IA; her grandchild Hailee Bassett of Buffalo Center, IA; and her sisters, Patricia Maschoff of Fairmont and Bobbie Atzenhoefer (Kenneth) of Fairmont. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, organizations that are close to Sharon's heart.
