He is survived by: his wife Mindy Thompson of Fairmont, MN; his children, Jenny Schwieger (Reid) of Fairmont, MN, Jared Thompson (Michelle) of Fairmont, MN and Jake Thompson (Lynn) of Mapleton, MN; his grandchildren, Riley Schwieger (Taylor), Sam Schwieger (Kendra Connors), Maddy Schwieger, Laura Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Ryan Thompson and Caleb Thompson; his siblings, Scott Thompson (Peggy), Laurie Forshee, John Thompson (Charlene), Mike Thompson and Jamie Thompson (Marlyce); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Whelchel (Leon), Molly Elliott (Tom) and Mike Hazelhoff (Sally). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
