He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hines and Isabelle Hines (Cronin); his sister-in-law Joyce Hines of San Diego, CA; his wife Betty Hines; his children, Nannette Flores, Kimberly Hines and Gregory Hines; his granddaughter Shannon Flores; his great grandchild Samantha Joy Craven; his siblings, Cyril Hines, George Hines and Loretta Novak; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Lena Holz.

He is survived by: his children, Pamela Craven (Paul) of Elk River, MN, Randall Hines (Rhonda) of Fairmont, MN and Lisa Hines of Rochester, MN; and his sister Alice Simon of Vadnais Heights, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
