She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Blanck and Catherine Blanck (Growth); her husband Edward Oanes; and her siblings, Grace Pedersen, Mildred Blanck and Roland Blanck.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul Oanes (Carolyn) of Fairmont, MN and Steven Oanes (Sue) of Oregon, WI; her grandchildren, Joshua Oanes (Ai-Nhi) of Mankato, MN, Christina Oanes (David) of Augusta, GA, Stephany Oanes of Oregon, WI and Sara Oanes of Oregon, WI; and her great grandchildren, Macala, Ripley and Cerena.
