He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sr. Bulfer and Mary Bulfer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bulfer (Herrin); his children, Daniel Bulfer (Jenny), Philip Bulfer (Amber) and Sarah Tony (Jason); his grandchildren, Joshua Bulfer, Jay Bulfer, Madeline Bulfer, Ella Bulfer, Demitrios Kalomiros and Alexander Kalomiros; and his siblings, Charles Bulfer (Kathleen), Joseph Bulfer (Aloma), Thomas Bulfer (Paula), Edward Bulfer (Karin Schultz), Patrick Bulfer (Joyce), Rosalie Bulfer and Margaret Galloway (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Saint John Vianney Endowment Fund.
