She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Swenson; her parents, Theodore Schwieger and Lena Schwieger; her parents-in-law, Herbert Swenson and Marie Swenson (Nordeen); her siblings, Milton Schwieger, James Schwieger, Delbert Schwieger, Mary Armbrust and Luverna Hartmann; and her siblings-in-law, Erline Schwieger, June Swenson, Donald Armbrust, Roland Anderst and Kenneth Swenson.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Anderst of Fairmont, Marlene Griffith (Daniel) of Eden Prairie, MN, Lynn Schwieger (Devorah) of Fairmont and Gerald Schwieger (Marian) of Fairmont; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Schwieger of Fairmont and Doris Schwieger of Truman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fairmont, or Martin Luther High School, Northrop, MN.
