We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 96, Kenneth E. Scott of Fairmont, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Kenneth W. Scott and Marian Scott (Weiss); his wife Gloria Thompson; his in-laws, Rev. Arling and Ingeborg Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Ken Nielsen and Richard Tyler; and his nephews, John Tyler and Michael Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Scott of Minneapolis, MN, Mark Scott of Palm Springs, CA and Susan Rae (David) of Excelsior, MN; his granddaughters, Sophie Rae of Minneapolis, MN and Chloe Rae of Tucson, AZ; his sisters, Margaret Tyler and Winifred Scott of Columbia, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Nielsen (Jennifer), Tom Tyler (Emily), Bob Tyler (Tracy), Marnie Tyler, Howard Ambrus (Brandy) and Rina Leon (Charlie).
The family prefers that memorials be given in Ken's name to Grace Lutheran Church or United Hospital District (UHD) Hospice in Fairmont.
