He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Rodgers and Ruth Rodgers (Decker); his father-in-law Calvin VandenHoek; and his siblings-in-law, Bob VandenHoek, Jon VandenHoek, Terry Ohlsen and Julie Ohlsen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rodgers; his daughters, Molly Brummond (Phil), Ingrid Bjerknes (Darin), Sarah Clements (Jacob) and Emily Trindal (Joseph); his grandchildren, Ava "Aviator", Brynlee "Brynzilator", Capri "Caprister", Beckham "Beckabooster", Layla "Layla Louster", Calvin "Calvinator", Betsy "Betsyboo" and Elenor; his sisters, Hazel (Aila) and Julie Rosin (Scott); his mother-in-law Mildred VandenHoek; and his friend Jack Rodgers.
Memorials collected will be donated to the Lutz Cancer Center in Fairmont for the garden.
