He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jo Pietsch; his wife Lynn Skalicky; his children, Keith John, Frederick E. Theobald, Dee Sweet of Lawton, OK, Trina N. Hilgendorf (Jeff) and Keith J. Theobald (Amanda) of Jackson, MN; his grandchildren, Andrea N. Theobald, Jessie C. Theobald, Nick J. Hilgendorf (Cammy) and Saige M. Theobald; his sister Diane Olson (Butch) of Fairmont, MN; and his close friend Marie Stoeckmann. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Martin County Veterans Memorial Project.
