Jacob Fretty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Fretty (Fairmont, Minnesota), who passed away on March 6, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Fretty and Ruby Fretty; his daughter-in-law Brenda Fretty; his granddaughter Hannah Fretty; and his sisters, Irene Holland (Tim) and Luella Bacon (Carrol).

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Peterson; his children, Sue Lund (John) of Fairmont and Randy Fretty of Crystal River, FL; his grandchildren, Brian Lund (Samantha) of Garner, IA, Christie Schmidt (Alex) of Fairmont, Matt Fretty (Megan) of Fairmont and Ashley Anderson (Riley) of Duncan, SC; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Lucy, Owen Lund, Sophie, Elise, Camille Schmidt, Emma Fretty, Lily and Everly Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Peterson of Fairmont and Ardys Bloom of Fairmont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.

The family requests that any memorial donations be designated to local ministry and charity organizations: Martin County Youth For Christ, Options Pregnancy Center, Gideons International or Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center.
