Howard D. Simmering Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard D. Simmering (Fairmont, Minnesota), who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Marianne Simmering; and his stepson Mark Vacek. He is survived by: his parents, William Simmering and Adale Simmering (Laue); his wife Emma Simmering of Fairmont, MN; his daughters, Shelley Bauer (Jeff) of St. Charles, IL, Nancee Meuser (Ron) of Eden Prairie, MN and Merilee Kozak (Joe) of Santa Ana, CA; his stepdaughter Kathleen Gruhlke (Doug) of Spirit Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Lindsey Rowland (Scott), Ashley Meuser, Kelsey Bauer, Claire Bauer and Matthew Kozak (Katie); his stepgrandson Scott Bauer; and his brothers, Jerald Simmering (Darlene) of Prior Lake, MN and Richard Simmering (Caroline) of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
