She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Malliet and Viola Malliet (Hansgaard); her husband Ralph Hillmer; her sons, Richard Hillmer and Todd Hillmer; and her siblings, Muriel Malliet, Robert Malliet and James Malliet.

She is survived by: her children, Jay Hillmer (Linda), Joanna Sandberg (Brian), Leslie Anderson (Mark Seagar), Nick Hillmer (Stephanie) and Chris Hillmer (Larissa); her grandchildren, Alicia Hillmer, Elizabeth Hillmer, Nicki Hanson (Greg), Bobbi Sandberg (Tyler Harder), Tyler Anderson (Kathryn Huether), Spencer Anderson (Kristin Elllis), Keller Anderson (Kelynn Garlick), Brianna Anderson, Parker Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Darin Hillmer, Calleigh Hillmer, Dayna Sinn and Chase Hillmer; her great grandchildren, Kaden Spear, Quinn Spear, Harley Spear, Raegan Spear, Sharai Hillmer, Shanna Hillmer and Jalen Hillmer; her sisters, Alice Malliette (Ron Strom) and Marilyn Malliet; and her sister-in-law Dee Hillmer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Mayo Hospice, Goldfinch Estates, the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center, or to the Martin County Humane Society, all of Fairmont.
