He is survived by: his parents, Otto Reinhold Bergt and Paula Louise Bergt (Lueders); his children, Carolyn Bergt of St. Louis, MO, Richard Bergt of Springfield, IL and Gerald Bergt (Pauline) of Fairmont, MN; his niece Janice Borcherdt of Fairmont, MN; his grandchildren, David Bergt, Amanda Bergt of Fairmont, MN, Jered Sprecher, Christine Sprecher of Knoxville, TN, Jonathan Bergt, Nastasha Bergt of Woodbury, MN, Aaron Bergt of Fairmont, MN, Cory Prelerson, Kathleen Prelerson of Bellevue, NE and Timothy Bergt of Springfield, IL; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah, Caleb Bergt of Fairmont, MN, Levi, Ezra, Avram Sprecher of Knoxville, TN, Luke Bergt, Lillian Bergt of Woodbury, MN and Ezekiel Prelerson of Bellevue, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
