George Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Jones of Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jones and Dorothy Jones (Staufer); his parents-in-law, Ruth and Otto Kakeldey (Mike); and his brothers-in-law, Ron Kakeldey and Richard Kakeldey.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Jones (Kakeldey) of Fairmont, MN; his son Tim Jones of Burnsville, MN; his siblings, Gary Jones (Sharon) of Stewart, MN, Gloria Hein (Richard) of Fairmont, MN and Delores Schwager (David) of Northfield, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Kakeldey, Terry Kakeldey, Ramona Kunard, Roselyn Grabianowski (Jim) and Linda Hoover (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
