She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Anders and Anna Anders (Harms); her husband Melvin Burmeister; her son Dennis Burmeister; her siblings, Myrtle Armbrust and Marlan Anders; her son-in-law Douglas Ziemer; and her siblings-in-law, June Anders, Nola Anders and Wallace Armbrust.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Marty) of Truman, Merle (Shirley) of Truman and Sharon Ziemer of Fairmont; and her brother Gerald Anders. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
