She was predeceased by: her parents, Leno Day and Helen Day (Broker); her husband William Schaefer; her siblings, Richard Day (Mary) and Dolores Theobald (Lucian); her parents-in-law, George and Lydia Schaefer; and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Schaefer (Arlene) and Lorraine Becker (Milton Ternberg).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fiedler (Jean) of Sauk Centre, MN, Dianna Duvall (late Gene) of St. Peter, MN, William Schaefer (Char) of Burnsville, MN, Jean Steuber (Ken) of Fairmont, MN and George Schaefer (Wendy) of The Villages, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Heartland Senior Living in Truman.
