He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hartmann and Adeline Hartmann (Johnson). He is survived by: his former wife Carol Sundberg; his girlfriend Marsha Rettig; his daughter Dani Lenort (Brad); his grandchildren, Belle, Sami and Brier; his daughter Gena Steinberg; his grandchildren, Alex and Rilea; and his sisters, Diane Hovdet and Connie Eppeland (Butch).
The family requests memorials be given in David's name to the Fox Lake Conservation Club or the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1222.
