He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Harold Shelstad; his daughters, Christina Dankworth (Dwight) of Leander, TX and Teresa Cox (Ray) of Highland Village, TX; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Alexander, Jada Dankworth and Wyatt Cox; his siblings, Lyndon Shelstad of Fairmont, MN, Gail Mann (Michael), Karen Shelstad of Fairmont, MN and Raymond Shelstad of Fairmont, MN; his wife Laurita Shelstad; and his mother Lois Shelstad.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
