He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Bebernes (Fred) and Margaret Bebernes (Boilsen); his wife Lorma Bebernes; and his sister-in-law Coyla Bebernes. He is survived by: his children, Linda Bebernes (Kate) of Portland, OR, Tom Bebernes (Cindy) of Ottumwa, IA and Dan Bebernes (Fran) of Fairmont, MN; his grandchildren, Ann Marte (Ivan), Janet Sahlstrom (Dan), Cheryl Bebernes, Nancy Bebernes and Adam Bebernes (Sara); his great grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan, Kendra, Lisa Sahlstrom and Harley Bebernes; his brother Gene Bebernes; and his nephews, Jack Bebernes (Sue), Jeff Bebernes (Sheryl) and Steve Bebernes.

The family asks that people are mindful of social distancing guidelines, wearing masks and best practices in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Martin County West Dollars for Scholars.
