He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob DeWar and Dorothy DeWar; and his brother-in-law Steve Shane. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne DeWar; his daughters, Danielle Freitag (Corey) and Andrea DeWar; his grandchildren, Bryce Dean Ihrke, Hadassah and Malachi Freitag; and his siblings, Kathy Fey (Rick), Van DeWar (Laurie) and Jeff DeWar (Karen). He is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.
Flowers are welcome at the funeral, but memorials are preferred to the Alano Society of Fairmont or Action169, organizations meaningful to Darrell and his family.
