Darla Mae Grefe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darla Mae Grefe of Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wohlrabe and Lydia Wohlrabe (Cook); her husband Herman Grefe; her great grandchild Mitchell Breitbarth; her siblings, Lawrence (Roberta), Elmer (Helen), Alberta Rademacher (Harold) and Alice Wohlrabe; and her siblings-in-law, Paul, Erhardt (Bonnie), Fred (Susie), Bill, Raymond (Joan), Lucia, Marie Nolting (Albert) and Clarine Hendrickson (Gary).
She is survived by: her children, Juleen Breitbarth (Neal) of Truman, Laurel Engquist (Lee) of Northfield and Thomas Grefe (Mary) of Nicollet; her grandchildren, Adam Breitbarth (Lisa), Michael Breitbarth, Rebekah Rogness (Noah), Andrew Engquist (Christa), Katie Henefield (Joe), Seth Grefe, Ethan Grefe (Becky), Joshua Grefe, Caleb Grefe and Jacob Grefe (Alexa); her great grandchildren, Lydia, Samson, Jonah, Gabriel Rogness, Noelle Engquist, Emerson, Adeline Henefield, Isaac and Noah Grefe; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Broscheit (Grefe) and Sharon Grefe. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
They settled in Fairmont, becoming members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she sang in choir, was involved in her children's school activities and belonged to the Charity Club. She was active in the Lutheran Retirement Home Auxiliary, American Red Cross Bloodmobile and American Heart Association.
