He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vaudt and Lorena Vaudt; his parents-in-law, Ervin and Esther Johnson; and his siblings, Dawn Struecker (John), Phyllis Behnke (Harold), Jeannette Maahs (Elmer), Sandy Morrow (Don), Eugene Vaudt (Caroline) and Harlan Vaudt (Vernita).

He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his children, Candace Fowler (Richard) of Springfield, MO, Randy Vaudt (Barbara), Glenda Voigt (Vance) of Plano, TX and Gayle Cogger (William) of Rosemount, MN; his grandchildren, Mara Dockery (Michael) and Ryan Voigt; his great grandchildren, Alder and Orion Dockery; and his sister Ann Wood (Warren) of Humboldt, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
