It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha M. Bliesmer (Fairmont, Minnesota), who passed away on August 4, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Bliesmer; her siblings, Matilda Hartung (Budd), Cristina Anderson (Leslie), Lorene Balsley (Earl) and Herman; and also, Mervin Bliesmer (Helen), Emma Wellcome (Leon), Christian Bliesmer, Violet Lesch (Norman), Emil Bliesmer (Ethel) and Elsie Danberg (Harold).

She is survived by: her parents, Chris Blom and Hanna Blom (Janssen); her children, Byron Bliesmer (Pat) of Fairmont and Carolyn Howe (Ron) of Winnebago, MN; her grandchildren, Chad Bliesmer (Dara), Heather Harris (Chuck), Emily Langford (Brandon) and Josh Howe (Joni); her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Hanna, Elizabeth, Jake, Makenzie, Carter, Peyton, Casey, Hailey, Tanner and Hudson; and her great great grandchild Harper.
