He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Swenson and Leona Swenson (Sundermeyer); his wife Sharon Swenson; his parents-in-law, William and Doria Schnittger; his brothers, Richard Swenson and Robert Swenson; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Thate, Joe Difiglio, Richard Brolsma, Bill Schnittger and Sandy Swenson.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Leill (Eric) of Edina, MN and Jeffrey Swenson (Tracy) of St. Joseph, MN; his granddaughters, Stephanie Leill of Fridley, MN and Megan Leill of Minneapolis; his sisters, Beverly Thate of Sherburn, MN, Lois Swenson of Minneapolis, MN, JoAnn Difiglio of Grays Lake, IL and Elaine Swenson of St. Paul, MN; and his sister-in-law Shirley Brolsma of Fairmont, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
