He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reiter and Marie Reiter (Vogt); his siblings, Leila Altenburg (Victor) and Veron Reiter; his brother-in-law Dean Michaelson; and his nephew Dale Altenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Reiter of Fairmont, MN; his daughters, Stephanie Sparks (Doug) of Albia, IA and Pamela Johnson (Mike) of Atwater, CA; his grandchildren, Brittany Flattery (Cody) of Carslie, IA, Mitchel Sparks of Albia, IA, Brooke McCarty (Wyatt) of Albia, IA and Nicholas Johnson of Atwater, CA; his great grandchildren, Cora Flattery, Leo Flattery and Chet McCarty; and his siblings-in-law, Barb, Roger Weise of Spring Valley, MN, Vince, Armon Ross of Eden Prairie, MN, Bruce, Judy Rhoda of Hutchinson, MN and Susan Michaelson of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to Mayo Hospice.
