He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Fuchs and Ethel Fuchs (Whitcomb); his sister Florence Life; and his siblings-in-law, Earl Bierbaum, Joyce Fuchs, Don Riess and Tom Rakoczy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Mae Hampel; his children, Greg Fuchs of Eyota, Bruce Fuchs (Wendy) of Lancaster, WI, Dan Fuchs (Carmen) of Ames, IA and Nicole Wibstad (Ben) of Eyota; his siblings, Clarice Bierbaum and Stan Fuchs (Elaine); his siblings-in-law, Dean Life, Ray Hampel, Donna Riess, Marjorie Rakoczy, Shirley Reiter and Gene Reiter; his pet Rocky; his grandchildren, Josh Fuchs (Hannah), Amy Boettcher (Jordan), Grahm Wibstad, Adam Wibstad and Jack Wibstad; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Boettcher, Niles Boettcher and Susanne Fuchs.
